Historical curiosities
It seems that the countless properties of this plant were very well known by Assyrians and Babylonians, who had, from a certain moment, very extended crops of Aloe Vera.
It was in the era of the ones considered the essentials of our civilization, Mesopotamia, XIX b.C., on those Tigris and Euphrates banks where history is mixed up with legends and hypotesis on one hand surprising and on the other very seriously taken from some people, including scholars with standing all over the world.
We are talking about the Tower of Babel, which belonged to the gods Anu and Marduk, to Enunachis and visitors from other worlds… Nowadays, it is talked about secret spots where Illuminatis save reserves of Aloe for those who survive to a possible world’s ending.
Also, during the history, it is found on the entries of Piramids as a sacred protective plant; on Cleopatra’s beauty kit, who loved to get Aloe and goat’s milk baths; in purifying indigenous rituals all over the world and into the healer’s first-aid kit.
It is talked about Aloe in the Bible and it is known that Romans always made a stage on the seashores of North Africa before continuing their path to their battles to fill the hull of their boats with this powerful remedy for wounds and scurvy of the soldiers. Travelers did the same: one of them was Colon, who made it to arrive to America this way.
More recently, Gandhi ate the pulp of Aloe Vera to maintain his strength during his fast in the name of peace.
And so on, until synthetic medicine took us to forget the existence of this and many other treasures.
